· I can confirm the proxy issue. Add magnet link: stalls at metadata downloading (usually, sometimes it works as normal). Turn off proxy, wait for metadata to download, turn on proxy and it keeps downloads. This is using docker inside a FreeNAS VM of RancherOS. The proxy used is privateinternetaccess. · Certain magnet links are stuck on "Downloading metadata". Restarting the torrent do not work. Pause and Start. Restarting qbittorrent do not work. It shows many seeds and peers but it is not fetching the torrent file. Both uTorrent and Tixati is able to download the torrent file. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered. If there are no seeds then there is not much you can do in the short term. Just keep the torrent (s) loaded in your torrent client and hopefully a seed comes online one day in the future. Alternatively try looking for a different torrent that may currently have seeds. Also a reminder to continue seeding your own torrents after you download them.

The number of seeders must be more than the number of leechers. If you see a file that has 3 seeders but 10 leechers then do not download it. Then open uTorrent again and you’ll see that it has started downloading. I guess this is a sort of a glitch in the latest version that happens when you download magnet links (from piratebay etc.). Hope they fix it soon. Quite frequently I get stuck on 'Downloading Metadata' for certain torrents, whilst at the same time others download just fine. If I go to ~/Library/Application Support/uTorrent and delete bltadwin.ru and bltadwin.ru files then those stuck at 'Downloading metadata' start downloading but then a few days later I will run into the same problem. There is also more verbose progress reporting. Previously torrenttools could give the impression of being stuck when creating torrents containing a large number of files. Another improvement for large torrent files is that the file tree will no longer be shown when a torrent contains more than thousand files.
